I have just taken my lc250 out for the last 50 miles of running in. It is real nice on slow corners nice and predictable. When I put power on the corners become a twilight zone. The front and back end seem detached and I get strange signals from steering and back end. A bit like one of those shopping trolleys from Asda. The swing arm is fine and everything is nice and tight. I do have Avon ditch finders on would that account for all of it ? They are nice and warm ! I don't remember LC's being so bad. I normally ride a Buell lightning maybe I am just spoiled !

Have you checked the steering head bearings and swingarm bushes, rear shock and tyre pressures etc, can't compare them to a 'modern bike' maybe one of the racers can help with more info?

Yea forks have'nt been touched since the old king died think they might have ink in them now. Also I havent looked at rear shock setting, what should that setting be ? The bike has just gone through an mot so steering head bearings and stuff should be fine no movement. The bushes in the swing arm are almost new. Did tyre pressure as per manual not sure its 28, 32 wil check that and wheels were balanced. Reckon it might be squishie suspension then ?

Put the rear spring on on its top setting .
If the front wheel is not balanced thats not good . The backs not so bad but the front will realy throw of the handeling if its not done .
