Hi Has anybody got any close up pics of an airbox fitted to a 250/350 lc ? My Hybrid build has a Ypvs style mono fitted and I thought that the top mount may restrict the fitment of the box. The mounting lugs on the frame have been removed for the box fitment, but the bike had K&N's when I got it, don't know if that was through choice or necessity. Hopefully this will show what I mean; Would prefer to use a standard airbox if possible. Cheers Dusty

Dont think it will fit. Best photo I could get without completely removing the oil tank. OEB

Cheers guys, I was thinking it may not be possible, and those pics sorta confirm it. Thanks for your efforts. Regards Dusty

Hi,
Personally I'd rather keep the airbox. If you can manage to plastic weld you could try cutting the bottom that clashes off and weld up the hole and try and weld the bit you cut off onto the top to keep the volume the same. Either that or see if a valvie one can be butchered to fit.

Hi Butchers, That's a kind offer mate. I will pm you my details and I'll give it a go. I plan on keeping the engine standard except for Allspeeds, and would rather use an airbox if I can.
Thanks
Dusty
