I need to replace the chain and sprockets on my LC..worn is an understatement!
Is it correct that o ring chains will lose you a few HP compared with a normal HD chain........Ive been told the best chain for an LC is a "TKR" HD....This info comes from an ex racer who also set up my bike on the rolling road.
Apologies if this is a dull statement....Just curious to know the truth! Cheers MM

Cheers To be honest i think its overkill on a small bike (under 500cc) as long as you use a quality chain and keep it well lubed, Ive heard about power loses on O ring chains before but not convinced one things for certain there heavier than a normal chain MM ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

You do loos 1Hp in drag becourse they are a lottle wider but you loos more by havibng a full tank of fuel compared to half a tank so i woulnt worry about it .
The TKR is a standard chain and OK but an O ring will last 3 times longer
