Hi all,
Currently rebuilding a rough and bodged F2 that had a knackered 31K motor in it. One of the previous 9 owners had a drive chain let go and busted the cases - I wasn't so keen on the araldite repair!! I've found some 1WT cases, had the 31K barrells rebored (plus 1,00) and the crank rebuilt. Also got new F2 powervalves. The 31K gearbox will be used with new bearings and seals.The question is - will this lot fit together and work properly? Any advice appreciated.......

Just had a look at the barrells - they're marked 1UA (N2??) and the head is marked 31K

Just had a look at the barrells - they're marked 1UA (N2??) and the head is marked 31K 1ua is f2 ones but you could use the head from the 31k...i have 2 heads 31k and 1ua marked...they look identical to me.... 1UA head is a rare thing, usually markes 31k then Y1/2/3 Nats c*ck difference between them Steve
