I'm trying to restore an RZR250. I knew when I bought it i would probably need another petrol tank, the one on the bike had been fibre glassed underneath. I bought another tank off Ebay which arrived last week. I have been assuming that a lot of stuff is interchangeable with a 350 YPVS. Well the tank that arrived is not the same as the one on my bike it is much smaller, width wise, and the fittings for attaching it to the frame are completely different. Also the shape of the under side of the new tank is completely different, looks like it could be mounted on a spine frame. Can you identify these tanks for me, please? The tank on the left is the one I've just received, it measures 275mm at the widest point, 145mm at the narrowest point, across the flange at the mounting point at the back of the tank. The original tank measures 335mm at the widest point, 160mm at the narrowest point across the flange at the mounting point at the back of the tank. Even if I modified the fittings on the "new" tank, it would look a bit daft on the frame because it doesn't quite cover the frame rails. There is no question of me sending it back, I'm in Cyprus, it would cost too much, should have looked at the photos more closely.

Forgot to say, the flanges on the sides of the tank, where the side panels join, do not line up either, they are a good 2 inches from where they need to be.
