Hi all, i've finally bit the bullet and stripped my f2 for restoration and i was wondering about what to do about respraying my frame. Can you still get the original paint? i do like the colour from a fazer 1000 a nice metallic grey, i know it's easy to get it powdercoated but it's the basic colours that put me off, any idea's would be good. Cheers.

Basic colours my arse, you go to any decent coaters as Butchers said and you'll be amazed at the range of colours, textures and finishes available, much better in my opinion than spraying any day ;D

i agree with butches and shytalk, powdercoating , and a fair job should cost about 60-80 quid including prep, it wont chip as easily as paint and the colour choise is huge !, Gloss, satin, matt, textured ...whatever u want, im about to do my F2 frame in the next few weeks, (if i ever get time )
