Went for a brief ride out on Sunday it seemed okay, but want to make sure I get the best out of the tune. Before I spoke to Mick today I spoke to Bob Farnham who said that the 280's were well below what should be in there and suggested 390-400 mains. Mick was saying with similar spec on ypvs with powerjet carbs they are running late 300 mains.
Just seems big size to me .
I am just concerned and need a starting point otherwise I will need share in Mikuni Jets.

These are the abbey design ones that peak at 10500rpm, he does ones that peak at 9200 if you don't want it to rev that high. Awesome performance, he is on here so pm him for a price. Think his user is tsa (two stroke addicts) Steve

I used to run 360's on stock carbs, modded airbox, ported barrels and short can microns so 380 isnt way too big for a starting point. Just wack some 380's in, needle on 4th clip(from top),airscrew half a turn out and work from there, reducing the MJ a size at a time while keeping an eye on the plugs. Would also retard the timing to 1.5btdc and run B9EGV plugs. Better to start off safe.
