ok heres the detailed plan..........powder coat frame/swinger.Rechrome few bits.give the wheels a once over.polish forks n hangers.respray/custom decals.job done  |

update....................got a few bits i was waiting for from shop.Few more bits still to come. Ok another worthless update Phoned powder coaters AGAIN today as i had not heard from them since last wednesday when they said my parts would be done this week............and that after them already having them for a week but losing them so god knows where they had been for that week Its now been 2 weeks and one day since i originally dropped parts off to them. I asked today if they are done yet.The lady went to check...........while i sat on hold listening to a message sayin how proffessional they are,how customers are important,how they have their own lab onsite so you will get the best finish and latest coating technology...........and............if you need a job doing quickly overnight is no problem Obviously not the case on my job Lady comes back to phone and says..........not done yet..........the production manager can see them in the line of work but they are a week behind. She told me to phone friday morning and they will try their best to get it blasted and coated friday for me to collect friday Now im no expert but that seems a bit quick to blast and coat a frame,swingarm,subframe and sidestand   but we will see. So..............2 weeks and one day......lost for one week....still not started........i aint happy. Re-negotiate the price mate!
There's a place in Newington who I was going to use, but didn't in the end, seemed like a good set up, but obviously I didn't see thier work!
I'm going to be looking for somewhere to redo the car wheels, so I'll take your advice!

Hope you get it sorted mate,its hard to find good relaible people,we have a couple of good people now who we use reguarly personal recommendations are usually helpful,trouble is some coaters are used to doing garden items,chairs and suchlike in job lots so can mess peeps around abit...
hopefully theyll come good(apart from delay)

Cheers Gaz........................u should work in a china factory wrappin up valuable china m8 Thanks again for that offer m8 ;D UPDATE!!!!!!!!!Well......................i finally have it all back If it wasnt for the stupidly long delay i would recommend these as now i have the stuff back its a real good quality job Shame about the delay like i say spoke to the line/production manager and asked where my bits went missing to and she said they wasnt lost........they were just sitting at the back in the mass of work they had in to do and that the office girl couldnt see them i then went on to explain how if they had got lost then my matching frame n engine numbers bike would be so devalued (it wouldnt coz it isnt matchin but they dont know that ) I then asked why it has taken so long and she said with the amount of work they had in they should have told me it would be a 2 week turn out So..........i have my nice shiny black bits back.Will do pics soon |
