Just had the 31K MOT'd but want to run the engine in in the most sympathetic way. I read somewhere about a no load method where you don't actually ride the bike but start it up let it get warm and then shut it down, start it again when cold and warm it up again but increase the revs each time. Has anyone used this method? If not what's the best procedure for a completely rebuilt motor? Thanks

take it steady for a few miles to bed rings and piston in if you fitted them, then just ride as normal, flat out!
