HI all, im building a rd350lc hybrid with rgv 250p swingarm , ill be running a 17 tooth front sprocket and 39 tooth rear ,
is anyone out there running the same or similar??
as im about to order a chain and not sure how long it will need to be ,
any help or comments on chain and feedback on my suggested gearing would be most appreciated

Hi,
Gearing should be fine, think I bought a 120 link chain and cut off the extra.
Just buy the longest you get, no real price difference for a few links.

Ive just picked up a lc with Rgv running gear, the back sprocket is a 45 which seems big. what does the front need to be preferably to suit that thanks

That rear sprocket is too big mate when I got my first hybrid it had 17/44 & it red lined in top gear at 100mph You would proberbly have to go up to a 19 tooth front if they do one

Mine is 17/39 and like Nick i think i have 116 links, but could be 114 or 115, either way, get a 120, you will be fine with a few links out of it.
