How Do All For the rd/rgv hybrid crew out there , what shock have you fitted ? I have a 4L1 frame and im about to send my VJ22 swinger off to NK racing for the conversion ( thank the gods for overtime tin) i was wondering whether you go the RD shock route or can you fit a rgv shock with remote res. as i bought one a while ago before i started getting gen'd up on here , thanks for all input weegiboy

Hi, think you either need standard or an aftermarket one like hagon or nitron if you want a remote adjuster.
Don't think the RGV one would work as it is set up to work with a linkage rather than direct to the swing arm so may be far to stiff.
Also rgv bottom bracket would need adapting and don't think top would fit in frame due the the remote hose.

Hi Steve Thanks for the advice , i spoke to Nigel at NK racing today and he said it's a no goer , so the rgv shock is on evilbay as we speak , thanks for you're input being a first timer /newbie it's a steep learning curve but ace Cheers wb

Hi, I had an Rgv shock in my 400 with Lc rear end and it was very firm . In my last 400 special I used an R6 shock; They are plentifull and cheap on ebay BUT they are 20mm shorter than an Lc shock and need a small mod to fit the Lc mounting bolts, plus they need shimming as thay are norrower than Lc shocks at the mounting points. How Do All I sold the rgv shock on eveilbay and have now bought a 350lc one to fit thanks for all you're input wb :-)
