Heres my RD400C aircooled. I have had it for years and slowly restored it to this. I have LCs as well but I have always had a liking for the aircooled and as I do many runs for the AircooledRDclub I use this more than the others. Heres half of my collection.

The others are restos. Im half way through a DT250MX and I have yet to start my Yamaha TY175 trials bike. I also ride a KTM450EXC as my winter green lane machine.

I must get a photos with my other bikes in. The LC2 has gone now but the 400C looks better after a bit more work on it this year. Wheels are now unpainted as they should be. I have now finished a DT250MX as well.

have to agree with a previous comment, the blue paintwork on the rd 400 looks immaculate, i'am taking it that this is not a standard blue as i have not seen an air cooled rd look as good, would definately consder a restoration on one of these were previous it was definaetly an lc, my dad owned an rd 400 and i think from about the age of 4 i knew that this was the 1st bike to have a disc back brake! geat to see the bikes getting used, enjoy

very nice but the 500 seems a little bulky i think you need to get rid of it and make more space . As its you i can help you out in this respect and take it of your hands. but only becouse its you .

The RD400 standard colour is Marine blue thats more of a green. I hate green so I went for a MG rover blue. Its similar to a RD250C colour. I like it anyway.
The RZV500 has just been set up correctly and put on a dyno run. Im just working on putting the fairing back on. Watch this space.

I have thought about it mate but the parts are difficult to find, im worried about getting one that not all complete then paying a fortune in bits from the states. Anyway I am looking at a very rare Yamaha at the moment, something very different.
