What are the gains if any from having foam filters as apposed to the standard airbox. Will a stage 1 tune and Microns still perform if a standard box is put back on ?

I allways try and run with a standard air box . But some times like on my stever baket lc its fitted with a ypvs and may be diferent cabs i have to fit filters . in this case i fit fome filters not the K&N type as they are better to jet . They dont look as goog but they do work better if you have to fit them .

You will find a std air box will perform better and will be easier to set up, from my limited experience. Jessy
