Nice , That front muddy looks like one of those nasty pattern ones that are designed for 20in wheels ?. Bought an X7 a couple of years back with one on and binned it (the mudguard, not the bike) ;D

No its a gen yam one for a 400E its like new as well and the seat is recovered so thats like new as well . Weird cos I thought the B and E models both had an 18in wheel and that mudguard is deffo for a bike with a significantly larger diameter wheel which is why it doesn't keep with the radius of the wheel/tyre ?. I also thought the mudguard had a similar profile at the front and rear and yours is pointed at the front and fatter at the back ?. Oh well, I'm no expert on em

My first RD, :-) Love the aircooleds, but I have a soft spot for the early 250's. That mudguard don't quite look right m8 TBH. Obviously the original would have had struts and probably a numberplate! lol but the profile doesn't look right for some reason.really must hunt down my first Aircooled, and get on with my 400!

Looks a nice bike norbo, the round tank rd`s must be getting thin on the ground now and the prices climbing.
