Nice builds Trying to get my post count up constructively ! Love the stance of Yamagamma's with USD fronts, I think one of the old Harris/Rotax seats would work well

I am in the surrey area but am close to London.Constructing a YAMMAGAMMA from a mk2 rg250 does anyone have one so i can get some ideas of how to make my own. Very keen on knowing what type of alternative wheels, front and rear ends may fit,is it best to leave forks as standard or opt for USD type front ends. Any help would be appreciated people. Was searching for Yamagamma info / pics, and found myself here Have you started building one ?

Hello Cinder when fitting the usd fork bottom yolk did you have to use the change the steering stem from the original rg yolk, i have been told that the rgv one is too short. regards Rich. Hi all - dunno if this helps but I am in the middle (?) of a rg250 MkII with VJ22 front and rear end / vj22 bodywork / 31k engine "project" and yes the bottom yoke V22 stem is 6mm too short, I think it may still be ok, I'm testing at present, but worse case you need a friendly engineering firm to cut & shut 6mm into the stem. I think I may get away with the lack of 6mm, but there ain't much thread there, may be a case of bars in hands and nowt else !

Hi, have had the steering stem from my RG250 removed and fitted to the RGV bottom yoke. Bearings are the same so when I eventually get going with it the RGV upside downers should fit, may have to do some lock stop alterations but will find out soon. Work done by Nigel Kimber who also converted a FZS600 Fazer to fit my RD500. Real nice workmanship.
