I am in the surrey area but am close to London.Constructing a YAMMAGAMMA from a mk2 rg250 does anyone have one so i can get some ideas of how to make my own. Very keen on knowing what type of alternative wheels, front and rear ends may fit,is it best to leave forks as standard or opt for USD type front ends. Any help would be appreciated people.

Hi, Nigel at Nk racing does the engine brackets/spacers you need to fit the Ypvs engine. I dont know if Rich from Alec's forum gets on here but he has a really nice Yammagamma/Gammaha. Whereabouts in Surrey are you? I'm near Heathrow.
Regards
Dusty

hi folks the yamasaki belongs to my mate gordi.its a tdr 125r frame with a kr1 engine in.bought as a non runner a couple of years back.striped ,powder coated, painted ,engine rebuild, engine painted and built back up.tdr 250 forks ,brakes ,discs.tzr 250 wheels the tdr wheels were rotted .he put an electronic dash on it ,vapor i think.when it was being built up needed to make a few parts to make things fit/work. had some jetting issues but its getting there. have i had a go? too right its mad.

Good looking yammagamma steeley! How hard was the rgv250 rear tail piece and seat to fit? I'm trying to put one on and looking for ideals on what sort of brackets to make. Did you use the stock rear subframe? or did you use the rgv250 rear subframe? Any chance you can post some pics of it with the rear tail fairing off?

It's amazing how well that PV engine fits in there, it's like it's made like that from factory! Very nice.

i have used a 2ma swinger on mine you can fit a 4" rear wheel in it.your biggest issue is that the swing arm pivot is really narrow.i have vj22 forks on mine an easy mod, keep the standard oil tank and move the servo, you can always get longer cables made.good luck with the build.

Hello Cinder when fitting the usd fork bottom yolk did you have to use the change the steering stem from the original rg yolk, i have been told that the rgv one is too short. regards Rich.
