Advice needed
I need to repair the thread on the barrel for an exhaust stud. The thread has already been drilled out once and helicoiled and a new helicoil will not now hold.
Any suggestions about how I can fix this ? Is there an alternative to a helicoil which requires a bigger hole?

Thanks

mine was the same as yours and i just got it re-welded and then drilled and taped it using the flange as a guide.
