Has anyone got a metmachex swinger fitted to their 4L0/1? I need to know a few things: Do the pivot bearings have a rubber end cap fitted over the top? What length is the brake plate side spacer (I assume the sprocket side has none as per standard?) On the threaded end of the wheel spindle, what does the key look like - woodruff? Pics would be good too Thanks, in advance. Bill.

Hi Mate, got one but with slotted chain adjust and for YPVS wheel fit. Pivot bearings have the cap and shim fitted to end side as per standard LC swinger. Bits are available from Metmachex, but aren't cheap.

Got one on my LC, but have just had the drum brake replaced with a disc.... may have the spacer somewhere, but sure its just the standard Yammie one.. Yep there are rubber caps over the ends of the swinger pivot point.. Bearings are TA2503Z, but spacers are NON standard Swinger is out of the bike at the moment due to play in the bearings, new bearings in the post, so I can get some pictures late tomorrow for you if that helps..?

There is no key on the threaded end of the shaft, but there is a locating pin which fits into the keyway to hold the shaft from turning and keeping it all square Rubber caps fitted to the ends of the swing arms as per the original swing arm. Chainguard mounting view

Robin, thats brilliant mate. The locating pin in the threaded end makes good sense, all my bits are missing, so was unsure. The rubber caps - do they have any numbers on them? The swinger i have is approx 10mm narrower than the standard one - could you take a measurement between the two inner faces for me please?

190mm across the inner faces of the ecccentrics, where the wheel spindle is, think standard wheel spacers were used.
193mm across the pivot tube (no end caps fitted when measured)
No numbers showing on the caps anywhere, but look just the same as the standard Yamaha ones.
Pivot bearings are standard TA2530Z, but as I said the spacers (16mm to 25mm) are non standard, mine appear worn, so I am waiting on Metmachex for availability.
Let me know if you want more info or pictures, the swinger will be out of the bike for a few more days

Robin, Those measurements correspond with what i have so looking good. The eccentric adjuster that has a locating pin is sh@gged so will have to make a new one of those (looks like someone has tried to file in a keyway!) Just need to locate the caps now. Thanks again, much appreciated.
