My bike is an LC2..is this the first of the YPVS models and are the engines the same throughout the YPVS range..or if i need engine parts does it have to be for an LC2..i have seen bits and pieces for sale that look the same but not sure what fits what.

What parts do you need. I think Engine wise they are all the same except on the N2 & F2 the port timing was changed along with the combustion chamber, different carbs & exhaust. Different models also have different stators, rotors & CDI

Yes the LC2 is thwe first of the valves . All the inrenal parts pistons seals bearings gear box etc are the same there is nothing that wont fit each other on the ypvs engines . Parts wont be a problem .

Ok that helps at least ill know what im buying now..so is the difference mainly cosmetics then between YPVS models?

mainly yes but when you go to the F2 there quight a few changes tank seat all the plasticks carbs ignition and so on . there are quight a few differances once you start getting in to it . If you have a look on the LC History page on the main site you will quight a bit on there .
