Ok, so the LC was running ok again, tick over is a bit iffy but motor was going well. Just chucked my Nikkon on for a bit of fun and my god Gary Robbo is correct (as always) about how good they are! Last time I tried mine it popped the head gasket after 2 miles so i didn't get a chance to open her up. Just went for an afternoon blast with it and the power is ridiculous! Wheelies off the throttle in 1st and 2nd! However, there are draw backs, band now starts later and lasts longer so your changing gear at 11k RPM! which can't be good for the crank. But. Bottom end is better than micron, mid range about the same and top end is double the power! Top speed is now just over 90mph at 11k, seeing the needle touch 90 brought a tear to my eye ;D I'm sure if I put standard sprockets back on it would go over a ton but the acceleration is crazy when you nail it through the gears! And, because I thought it was too good to be true, did a proper plug chop at full speed the clutch in engine off. Results- By far the best aftermarket pipe for a little 125 LC. The best set up I have found so far on my 125- Airbox snorkel removed > 10w carb > 180 main jet > Hy-tech reeds > 1.2mm squish > Standard 10w bore/ports/piston > Nikkon pipe. How she sounds -

Hi mate, Its on 520 pitch instead of the standard 428 so the ratios are slightly different. Its on 16 and 50 (520) and the standard is 16 and 45 (428). 1st is very short (which can get annoying) but I'm going to change back to 428 and go for 15 and 46 Will report back with top speeds at relative rpm Adam.

i would stick to the micron, nikkon will kill your engine, that pipe shift the power band far too much up rev range, be ok for tuned race bike not as a road bike

Thanks mate, yes its fun to thrash about on but lacks 'big bike' performance some what lol ;D And yes if no one spotted it the kick start is missing lol And yes billy, the r/h chain adjuster nut and bolt are missing too lol. There is a make shift nut and bolt through the swing arm slot to prevent the wheel from moving forward for now There are a few jobs to be done but its a work in progress and its an lc on the road so I don't mind.
