My plates would last 4 weeks in mine so I decided to fit another clutch unit. After many attempts I ended up with a complete clutch/drive gears and blance shaft gear from a DT125R no idea what model sorry. After playing with various spacers and modified the clutch basket( filed down the thickness of the basket rivets on the back) This has 2 extra plates and 5 springs in there and now has not slipped for 5 years.

put another washer after each clutch spring, completly transformed mine! Yeah but you'll need custom washers, you can't use washers in the same(ish) size as the original ones. If you use another set of washers with 5 mm ID, it will not make the springs more tensioned, it'll just give you less threads for the spring bolts while the actual springs are exactly as tensioned as they are originally. You need washers with 10 mm ID so that they slip over the round tabs (or whatever you call it) that are sticking out from the inner hub.

forget custom washers and ID, like i said all you need is an extra washer!!!!!!!!! did this to mine and its like a different bike! Well, you said "an extra washer after each spring". This is true if the washers has the correct dimensions, which is not found when looking at standard washer sizes. You need to have special washers with 10 mm ID and around 20 mm outside diam (maybe less then 20 mm, not sure how big the holes in the pressure plate are where the springs are inside) so that the washers will slip over the four aluminum tabs sticking out from the clutch hub. If you put washers on that are the same size as the original washers, (5 mm ID and around 18 mm outside diam) it won't effect the spring tension at all as the washers seat against the hub tabs where you put the spring bolts into. An exaggarated example would be to add ten washers (in the same dimensions as the original ones) after each spring and bolt it all up. It won't do anything to the spring tension, all it would do is spacing the spring bolts outwards.

you got too much time on your hands. what i did to mine fixed it!! end of!! Well, I don't know exactly what type of washers you put in there, you could be right but ONLY if the washers had the correct dimensions (somewhere around 10 mm ID x 16-18 mm outside diam, and this is quite far away from any standard sizes ( 10 mm split washers may work though) and not very easy to come across) which made the springs more tensioned. But there's NO WAY the spring tension would be effected if using four extra washers in the same dimensions as the original washers! It's just not physically possible mate. Look at my pic and you'll see that the springs are pressed together exactly as much on both pics, regardless of all the extra washers.
