fair play m8,i keep all the bits of copper and any old taps(brass) i change and i'll weigh it in when it builds up,don't keep any steel tho.was the price broke down for what u got for the copper?

yeh mate mixed scrap qty .100 price £19.50 copper qty .037 price £151.70 total £171.20 it's worth me keepin the copper and brass then but not the steel stuff,cheers m8

i weighed in 4 15" alloy wheels,set of alloy cases,alloy footrest hangers n got £15 for the lot I also weighed in with the above a few brass articles n got £17 for that alone. Brass n copper is worth loads at the mo

Brass n copper is worth loads at the mo i've done this with ally m8 and was a waste of time,spent ages strippin the steel bits out of fzr damaged cases and frames and got naff all for it

another good one at the moment is car batteries,nearly £8 per battery ,so happy scrap hunting everyone

Scrap is fetching a premium at the moment but its wrecking my other hobby of buying mot failures for £100, doing them up and selling for a small profit to pay for my main hobbies of bikes and shooting
