Just had to remove the swing arm bearings from my NC35 swinger before it goes for powder coat. Bloody needle rollers tried to knock it out from the back & the needles & cage disintigrated wouldn't budge. Saw somewhere about welding onto the bearing to give you something to hit against. Well that didn't work 3 dremile blades & 2 knackered screwdrivers later got the bugger out

I learnt that I should have looked a bit harder for the picture Martin has put up showing the nut welded into the needle cage. As the cage is hardened it just snaps off the lip, if I had done it this way it proberbly would have come out

When I got my last frame powder coated I just used threaded rod and washers and blocked all the holes up where there were bearings instead of removing them. I cleaned all the grease out of them first though. Rides like a dream now.

Yeah same as but on this one I had to grind away part of the bearing stop to allow the bearing slieve to go further into the arm thus got ali swarf in the needle bearing so it's fooked
