Hopefully finish work at 2pm, then home, and out with the dog for a couple of hours to work up an appetite. Back home when its dark. Order a full curry takeaway meal with all the extras from the local Indian restaurant and sit down to watch all the christmas specials on ukgold with a couple of beers. Both my parents gone too, so i'll be with my 2 girls (42 and 13) which is all i need.

I am just knocking up some sausage meat stuffing, the Mrs is out getting the last minute Xmas pressies.
I was part of a large family and we were skint, so with just having one son I tend to spoil him rotten as he has turned out to be the model son, doing well at school, no boozing or smoking and is the captain of 2 out of the three football teams he plays in.
Hope to have an early evening drink as we are actually ready for Xmas for the first time in living memory, we are usually stlll wrapping the presents at 2am on christmas day morning but it is all done.
See you all on the other side, I will try to get on at 6pm tomorrow for the forum record.
All the best
Willie

I am home now, stiff and sore as hell but home. I too wish all you nutters a good festive time and an even better new year. I got a few things rd250lc orientated for chrimble, one of them i have to build!! This time 3 years ago i rescued my staffie cross dog and found him a lady dog the following April, just know there are going to be loads of abandoned dogs again after xmas. He was a few months old and just left out in the cold on his todd. Have always had rescued dogs and loved them all, faults and doggie problems all in. Hope to meet some of you in 2011.

I had a staffie/boxer cross and he lived until 13,, cried like a baby when i had to put him to sleep. Said i would never have another dog but the house is empty without one, so got two.
