My bikes just got a bloody asbo from the community speed watch volunteers said I was was doing 39 in a 30. I know damm well I wasn't cos I saw them long before they saw me. Why do police give pensioners with too much time on there hands a SPEED GUN I wouldn't trust them with the remote for the TV b*****ds

How exactly do you give a bike an asbo, they don't misbehave..................?
Are you serious?
If this has actually occurred and you have Ben convicted then I would be questioning the training and suitabilityof the person who alleged that you were speeding and got the reading

You get a letter from the old bill telling you that volunteers working for the speed watch scheme have speed gunned you at whatever speed and your vehicle has a warning logged against it on the police data base for 12 months. This basically means if you do anything else wrong your fooked they can't prosecute on this evidence but will be watching you in the future.

Its a scare tactick They cant take you to court or prosicute you in any way. They are not traned operators and the guns the police use all so need to be recalabrated every week if they cant show this has ben done then all so they cant do you ion a small infrinjment over.
Its just a way to make you think twice about your speed but there is nothing they can do even if then catch you doing it over and over.

I also suspect that keeping the data of you and the bike is in direct breach of the Data protection act. It would not be admissable in a court action.
