Hi peeps Ive seen a few pic's of 4lo's with raised tail pieces, how is this mod done, is it just a case of bending the rear subframe up a couple of inche's to give more clearance. please excuse my ignorance, never seen this mod 30 years ago LOL

I cannot take the credit for "raising the rear" on my bike because it was already done when I brought it in 1985, the one thing that bugs me about it is that you can see the ends of the frame rails sticking down, I contemplated cutting them off, but wanted to keep it as it was back in the 80's. Tahnks for the nice comments. John.

Hi John your bike's stunning, i've just been checking your build thread out and the quality of the finish is top notch even for my critical eye, by the way like the wheelie low [any higher would have looked vulgar] and long proper lc. i think iam gonna do a build thread of my own, so i can get some help on the way its been a long time. dave
