How do You put your bike to bed over the winter? Do you cover it in sheets at the back of the gararge or just put it in the shed with a smeer of oil opn the alloy and wd40 on the steel bits. Do you have a heated shed like some do (very posh) but i know a couple who do . Come on lets be knowing or do you ride threw the winter like i used to do many years back. My gues is we are all geting to old for that theys days. ;D

i ride my bikes throught the winter ( LC only on dry crisp sunny days) other bike just cover it with spray on grease, and power wash it all off at easter. the winters dont seem to be as bad these days, last winter the road to work was only blocked with snow once, in olden days the roads were blocked for days at a time. steve

My bikes usually get nicked before winter sets in.......so I cant really answer that.
If my LC was finished I would keep it in the kitchen ;D

Was out on the SV yesterday to Matlock, very nice indeed it was. The engine for the LC is with uncle Norbs and the rest is in the warehouse. Ssshhhhhh! They are sleeping.

I try and avoid the salt with the LC, so it will probably go away in a couple of weeks. But I'm gonna try and use the diesel (XJ) a bit this winter. Like Steve said, the winters don't seem so bad these days. I used to ride all year except those days when we had a proper snowfall, since I didn't have a car licence til I was 23.

Ride mine all winter, but don't go too far. I use a van for work, but still get out for a short blast over winter, on the lc and the ktm. Surely its better to keep 'em running than store 'em??? ;D
