hi ya i have started rebuilding me rd after 5 years of it being stripped its a 250lc with a ypvs motor in it some bits were nice but most were bogged together . fitting a new loom as mine is a mess but where is the best place too put cdi and the other bits i know you boys know your stuff so could you point me in the right direction please, some pics would be great as not worked on bikes for a few years now, thanks lads i try and upload some pics for you all any advise would be great

Yes nice bike mate . Lockheads trick shock alloy swinger and a yp lump . you do have a good start there for a smashing bike ,
If you are going to run pri mix people some tines put all the cdi and stuff in that space . Others make a loom longer and put the bits in the tail pice behined the back light .

cdi shoulkd fit onto inner rear muddy where the old rectifier went pv control box should fit behind fuse box you might have to extend some wiring (for the switch gear) btw what loom are you fitting?

hi wiggy fitting f2 loom which i got off norbs as for the pv control will it still work if not above p/v motors? ta mate

yes it will mines in the same place the f2 rectifier on mine is bolted to the rear sub frame under the seat needs to be kept cool when running anything else you need to know?

thanks wiggy ur a star ,not worked on this bike for over five yrs so its abit off a head scrather getting your head round wiring as well as remounting bits , will speak again if thats ok with you .your wish you never mailed me after this LOL ;D. ta mate

not got the f2 clocks and my old clocks are the kindey shaped pne which i dont really like will be putting diffrent ones on but dont know wot sort yet

all the wires on the lc clocks match upto the same colours as the f2 clocks anyway so that bit is pretty easy.if u use lc clocks that is
