Hello ;D do these reed spacers work well at cleaning up mid-range stumble,got nos allspeed/10w carb etc,big main jet,bike starts/idles/pulls well but is abit like the old 350lc stuttering at 5-6k,not that troublesome,rode mates 10w with a micron is exactly same anything esle worth doing at same time-?? thankyou Matt

what type of filter do you have? if normal air box set up then some fine tuning of main jet and needle position should help the problem... if a 'pod' (not ramair) filter then you will need to space it further back from the carb to get better results (this helps smooth out the air flow between the filter and reed block after the reed block closes during the two stroke cycle) using something like this:

They do help a little but they are not a fix if you have bad problem they are more making a good bike better or if your cron is giving a splitter they do help smooth it out a little . Some people have fitted them and its sorted out the problem %100 but like i say they are more a smal help then a fix.

Cheers guys,std airbox,190 main,10woo carb,air sscrew 1.5 turns out,runs well,plug clean,ill try playing with settings as carbs coming off anyway ill fit the spacer too.
