Hi mate. yeah, i'm into kick boxing (MT) & have been for about 22 years. Used to study karate when i was a kid (70s) so wanted to be the next bruce Lee or Jimmy Wang-Yu Lol.....Kick boxing is the sport i'm most comfortable with & it helps to keep me reasonably fit. ;D

ive got alot of respect for muay thai and would love to learn it,i chose kravmaga for its simplicity but long term i would like to chose a "propper" style, ive always struggled with stand up stuff but like to learn, always do better on the ground and feel more in control.all good stuff and 9/10 people into martial arts are realy nice people too and like you say its great for fitness

Yep, KB. MT. is a pretty cool martial art, studied in many countries in many ways as it doesn't really have a true style, it's best described as a 'self disciplined form of free fighting' i've seen so many different moves/styles over the years, it's difficult for any two oponents to anticipate each others next move unless they have done battle before The up-side of this sport is that you don't have to have an oponent to get really good at it, (unless you want to go into full contact) A heavy bag is a good starting point and from then on you just develop your own style/moves. and get fit in the process ;D

Im a black belt in oragarmi!!! top that! No i am a muay thai instructer though, not classes no more just private lessons since i had surgey on my back, went through the judo, boxing, mt route, i loved the mma stuff too. Funny how the ufc went full circle, i.e first the stand up kids ruled, then the grapplers choked everyone out, and now everyone wants the stand up bangers again! easy for the layman and not as techy to watch for em is what i put this down too.
