couple of updates. 3 bloody hours cleaning polish resedue off the wheels, now they are degreased and ready for masking. I hate doing wheels, they take ages!

yerl shityerself when you see your face in those fork legs....high lustre jobbies... yeh wheels are a ball-ache but well worth it keep up the good work T

finnaly finnished the wheels, about the longest single job to do. This is what they looked like when the bike was brought to me what many tens of hours work makes them look like.

not been on here much, but quick catch up on work done. no sure if Im happy with the paint colour on the lower yoke. need to get a decal set for these. need to fit bearing, seal and sprocket then it can go in the wheel. talked him into a new shock and front springs, but gave this a clean and blast.

This is proper restoration I'd say....Good luck with it...you seem to know what tour doing!! this will be my 3rd single handed total resto/rebuild, helped build another special, helped with 1 rolling resto and will be my 7th total engine strip/rebuild in 4 years. I wont be doing another total origonal resto again as parts are a pain to get and cost loads when you can. Next bike will be an RG/RD 500, hope its an RG400 converted to 500 though, as genuine 500 are now stupid money.
