Anyone have any experience of fitting a 10V barrel etc. on an RD125LC ?. I know all the port timing is different and it won't have the same outright power etc. but I'm finishing putting one back together and the only undamaged barrel and piston I have is a 10v one. I'm totally not bothered about how fast it is, just as long as it runs properly. Things like jetting with a 12a carb and will it run ok with an RD exhaust (std or expansion) etc etc. Anyone have any experience or valuable tips ?. Moochas

And I bet you burn up those silly hairdrying things all the time Well, when you've got an engine fitted that is Wot I wonna know is why these 125LC's need engine rebuilds all the time ?. Is it crap aftermarket bearings and pistons etc ?. When my RD125LC was new in 1983 I thrashed the absolute living daylights out of it, 100mph everywhere for 8,000 miles and it never batted an eyelid

quick question when your doing your rebuilds you are using top spec jap kit arent you? not any of this micky mouse chineses shite? i use top spec and genuine where possible but the person who had it before told me it had an engine rebuild well it might have been taken apart and put back together but whoever put it back together make a ryt b**ls up of it so i have had the task of finding out whats wrong and fixing but this is the last part i havent fixed/replaced (big end conrod) however it off being done as we speak so should be back on saturday
