My cdi unit may not be good bikes been of the road for many years i should have it ready in next few mnths If my cdi unit is faulty does anyone know any one that can repair them or does anyone know of a replacement aftermarket version available
Or is there a cheap way of getting around this with a modern system Thanks in advance

Ignitech or Zeeltronic replacement units are the way to go.

Hi
F2 cdi's are usually quite reliable, hopefully it will be OK
Plenty of good used ones out there
Or if you want go iggy or zeel but if you ain't good at electrics...

Zeeltronic every time for me. I find them fairly straightforward to wire up but not everyone does.

Can't remember the model but I've used a couple supplied by muttsnuts
Iggy units come blank so need a suitable program installed
If you tell Dave what it's going on he will pre program it for you and also give you a wiring diagram for what bike you are fitting it to

I've done a couple of Iggy units now and they have been easy to wire in and work great.
No need for a special programmer and they don't seem to loose their maps.
