so,its looking like the clutch in my 31k motor has finally died! Slipping at top end of the revs so I'm looking at replacement! Is ebc still the way to go? Thanks

Hello mate, EBC is the way to go, Mutts sells the whole kit, use 3 EBC heavy duty springs along with 3 standard springs and all should be fine. Andy.

I use the EBC DRC043 kit. It includes the metal plates, the wider fibre plates (no rubber rings required) and uprated springs.

I've used the 043 kit as well but binned the springs, just bought new genuine ones as cheap enough

I buy 6 new Yam springs now too. I found that even just 3 of the heavier springs in the EBC kit made the clutch feel heavy at the lever.

I extend the clutch actuator arm by 10mm which counteracts the stronger springs, so I have a strong clutch and an easy to pull clutch lever.
