O.K so i got in contact with someone who was a friend of someone and i finally have a resolve on my below post.... basically the 'Digital Speedo's' BRAND is going through a takeover and the new team are putting a plan in place to GUARANTEE all deliveries OR arrange a REFUND for all customers the important part is they have set-up a 'WhatsApp' number to make the process easier and you can speak directly to a team member importantly my complete order of £500 has now been shipped/posted on Wed 3rd which is two days ago and they have sent me a personal message to apologize ... obviously this is a result not just for me but to anyone in a similar position , not sure if Ad Min will let me post a phone number on here so if anyone wants the number from me please send me a PM unless the number is already O.Kd by Ad Min here.. Has anyone had a bad experience with these guy's ?? i ordered a set of clocks Temp and GPS unit from them at the start of March this month with a notice on purchase of dispatch in 48hrs as they were stocked i have rang the number on the site 11 times , left 3 voice messages i have left 2 messages on Messenger left 4 e-mails and 8 messages on there 'supposed' priority ticket system i have yet to get a response or talk to anyone and am now worried that this business is a scam saying that i have purchased from before and i never had an issue + i had my items within 3 days anyone else had dealing with this SHAM of a business ? i really am at my wit's end here with them and really want to get a REFUND but again i cannot get talking to anyone ZiG

hmm... uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.digital-speedos.co.ukSeems some have no hassle and others have loads. Tracing the directors it seems the same people are Europe Spares who sell classic car parts. No idea if thats good or bad... but worth following up?

They are normally at Stafford in October, worth checking to see if they are there in April and go and have a chat with them. Obviously only if you live a reasonable distance. Rob

Hmm... hi JonW just to add a note , my last purchase i held onto a mobile number from the Tec guy who worked there , totally forgot i had it but had it saved under the shop name 'Digital Speedo's' i rang it and the same guy answered it ..... i asked for an update on my order to which he replied '.... i am sorry i cannot help you as i sold over the business a few years ago and so do not have any connection to the company anymore...and hung up..... it really stinks to me that my money has gone and if i leave it any longer i am afraid my Bank will not take action on my behalf.....NOT GOOD ZiG

Hmm... i had the same status on pre order 5-7 working days ....... it is now 3 weeks and not one single communication i could have ordered these from Germany and had them by now very very poor and i will never purchase from again , so angry ZiG

Only dealt with them a good while ago and had no issues, still get sale and discount emails from them every now and then

The problem is Jon who use to run the business retired and now his "son-in-law" runs it and its terrible, I've been a trade customer for years with them, never had an issue when Jon ran it, since his lad has taken over its sh*te, I ordered a temp gauge in Nov last year from them, despite numerous phone calls, emails and chase ups, I still didn't have it in February, then I had a custoner (forum member on here), bring me his bike and he had got his temp sender unit from them, ordered it the previous week and it turned up a few days later, so I called them and asked how that was possible since mine was on back order - no reasonable explanation forth coming, sums it up
I am currently trying to find a batter supplier, if I find one, I'll post up on here for you all, its a shame as it use to be an excellent business

I paid with paypal so im hopeful they will sort it, but its not always a given.

They used to be very good with fairly quick delivery of orders, but recently I ordered a temp sender which took well over a week to arrive.
They're fairly hopeless regarding email correspondence, replies seem to arrive on a timescale ranging from a few days to never and if a reply does come, the content suggests a lack of care and/or knowledge of the products they sell which is always of some concern to me.

An update from me as well...
Using the number supplied by Mark, I contacted them and like Mark's expereince they were pretty sorry for the experience I'd had. Said all the right things and vowed to sort it out.
They were able to find that they had my stuff coming into their warehouse on Friday last week, even tho it was said to be all stock items when i ordered it.
They promised to turn it around and send it out the same day.
This they have done and Ive received a tracking number and can see that its on its way.
Let's hope its all in the box and there are no further issues. I'll report back when my parcel lands.

Should add that ive had a bit of a nightmare with parcels the past month...
This one was just a black hole of nothing until I used the whatsapp number and now its on its way... proof is in the opening when it arrives of course.
Then there was the ebay one that made it half way across Aus but probably got its label damaged as about 5miles from my house they decided to send it back cos the address was 'invalid'... WTAF?! Ive lived here 15 years and have received over 1000 parcels and mail items so I know the addy is fine... Messaged and phoned within 2 hours of them doing a return 'track' and yet customer service will do nothing to locate it, so its going back to the sender. Ive worked Mail Centers, its findable... but they dont want to bother, its much more important to clear the ticket i raised than save money and keep the customer happy.
And then there is the FedEx parcel from CMS that made constant journeys between France and Belgium. Daily... I think it was stuck in the container and that was what was tracked doing the journeys, but it went on for a while... finally that parcel is now been cleared by customs here.
Dare I order anything else?!

Dave, Hmm... only one of those was an issue with an international postal organisation shipping stuff all over the place and only eventually working it out. Another was local post in Aus who had a damaged label. And of course, the first one was the company highlighted in this thread being off their game and not responding. Im not sure id can the idea of international postage based on this set of results. I certainly havent of course... EDITED... I also forgot. A forumer sent me a small parcel within the UK to my folks 3 weeks back, that also didnt turn up and is presumed lost now. So maybe its 'post' in general thats the issue as it seems even if we ignore Digital Speedos* (which is a business issues and not post... well not yet :/) and stick with postal orgs, we can see that Auspost, RoyalMail and also FedEx are useless. * - Tho its coming a combination of Royal Mail and Auspost... hmm... They say if everyone else is the issue, then its probably you... in this case I conclude the only factor that remains the same is me... Therefore: Dont send me anything!
