Hi all
Does the battery on a ypvs have to be fully charged or will it start on a flat battery like the old LC’s
I ask because my RD350F2 will not fire up. Was ok when bedded down for winter but I think the battery is on its way out
cheers Steve

Should start OK
Check for a spark first.
May have passed fuel into the crankcases while standing and flooded it

Check the pilot jets, assuming there's fuel and spark.

When I got my F2 out the shed after its winter hibernation the battery was stone dead. A few kicks and it fire up without any issue.

Had spark and fuel but would not start. In the end I got it running kicking over with full throttle and it eventually started to fire and then started. Once running then ran and started perfect. Head scratching time?

In my experience if you had to hold it wide open to get it to fire it was likey flooded. Make sure your fuel valve is functioning correctly and not on all the time.
