Hello good people across the pond. I’m not sure if this post is in the right spot. This is my current project. I am looking for an aftermarket TZR 3XV rear shock. I was hoping Yambits would have one as I am pleased with the YSS shock purchased there and installed on a recent RZ350 project. But they don’t. In the photo below on the left-hand side (sorry, not clearly shown here) the gas reservoir is rubbing on the custom subframe. The mounting bracket on that side can be moved over a tad which will pull the subframe that direction enough to clear the reservoir. However, my preference is an aftermarket shock with no reservoir or a remote reservoir. Does anyone know of an aftermarket shock for this model of TZR250? Also looking for an unbroken front fender for the same model should anyone have one available. Color doesn’t matter just no breaks or cracks please. Yes, it needs to be shipped to the US. Thank you! This build is being documented here should you like to follow along. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNWACuOBX5FuYcB-aMbkL3pk-YlBE-IPN

Hey thanks jessy03. That seems to be the one. I'll verify a few of the specs to confirm. Has anyone fitted one of these on to a TZR250 3XV?
Much appreciate the offer to post here. I may take you up on it.
Where abouts are you visiting in the US?

kensgarage I don’t know if it helps but my TZR125RR mudguard looks the same. I know they share a few parts with its bigger brother. For instance the front spindle has a 3XV code. Might widen the search? Very nice build by the way. Too old and tall for clipons (especially) under the top yoke, but that will look cool. Jon

It looks like the place where I set up a group buy of RZ500 shocks (10???) years ago can get the shock for me. I've also emailed a UK vendor to verify availability, etc., as it would save me a few bucks. Have not heard back yet.
Jon, what year is your TZR125RR? I'll cross reference the part number to the 250 one. Great idea. I hope it's the same.

I think it may be a 4HW or 4FL, but there were a few different models. rdlccrazy.proboards.com/post/536395It’s not the same code, but the centre and end is ie 4FL-21511-00 and 3XV-21511-00. Of course plenty still make aftermarket ones if your stuck. Jon

Hi Kensgarage I have been reading you build on RZ/RD 350 forum its very interesting a lot of fabrication 👍 I fitted an Ohlins unit onto my TZR 3XV with a remote reservoir, I think it was from a TZ250 3YL I had to change the lower mounting but need to check as it was back in 2008, I will look through notes & photos over the weekend
I hope that helps. Sorry I cant help with the mudguard as I fitted an Aprilia RSV front end, so its not same mudguard very sorry Best regards Johnny C.

Thanks again jon. And peddrotzr - No need to check your notes. I'm going to order the YSS through the local supplier here. It will be a bolt on. Never heard back from the UK vendor. Are you the one with the 535 (if I have the cc right)?

Are you the one with the 535 (if I have the cc right)? Hi Kensgarage, HA HA ! Too late Only just online after work and digging out old notes no worries buddy It was from a TZ250 B 3YL Memory is going a bit with age as it wasnt the Lower mounting that I changed it was just a softer spring as I am vertically challenged and bit on the light side of things! Yep I have got the TZR 535 I will keep following your build on the RZ/RD350 forum with great interest 👍 Best regards Johnny C
