Hi, I bought one last year in June and remember the ad saying it was older stock and they were on offer for £206 I thought I'd take the risk at that price. I was pleasantly surprised all connectors were correct and wires were as thick as originals which I was worried about. I wonder if they changed supplier. Rob

I been scratching my head recently on building a new LC loom. But it’s more to do with the self cancelling wiring. A wrong connector is definitely not right.

I have a couple of well butchered looms I use as donors for my own builds. Many connectors already stripped off, but if I have any of the ones you need I'm happy to help. Just ping me details and pics and will have a look for you.

I'm sure on the standard loom that male-female connections are always the same colour. There's a black to black 3 pin for the cdi and a white to white 3 pin for the alternator, and its this one that usually burns out. Hopefully someone will confirm as I'm going off memory.

That’s pretty poor to have the wrong terminal on. I suspect Legend don’t build them themselves? But whoever is, is not paying attention. All the same it’s their reputation for poor products, and there have been a few.
Most people who buy new looms are doing so because they can’t repair or build one themselves?
Why not phone Legend and see if they will sort it out for you?

Let all of us know how you get on. Many have had bad experience of customer service.
How can they question photographic evidence?

OK, your pictures are not that clear with the wire colours covered by you fingers, but I’m starting to think the loom is correct?
It was the fact you mentioned about web images being wrong? Surely you would make a loom from checking components not the web?
Anyway I think it’s that CDI that’s been butchered. The plug it should fit into has been chopped off by the looks of it. No wonder the coil connector seemed wrong also.
They should be a male and female 3 pin connector on both the loom and the coil. The reason the plugs are black and white is probably to stop some idiot plugging it in incorrectly without looking at the corresponding wire colours?

I’ll try and explain.
The white plug you show on the loom has male pins. It also clearly shows an orange wire. This is to the coils. It should connect to a female pin white plug on the CDI. I think yours has been chopped off and replaced with 1/4” spade connectors?
The black male 3 pin connector from the CDI should go to another connector on the stator plate with black, brown and red wires.
