Are the 31k calipers the same as used on the 4lO ?

No, but the early LC2 ones will fit as the spacing of the mounting holes is same. 31K N1/F1 had different calipers

In theory the early LC2 calipers are better than the LC... but im not 100% sure you'd notice it lol

I think the sliding pin is enclosed at the end and could be thicker/stronger. The one on my SR125 looks like a 31K calliper.

Same size pistons but the slides were on a steel bracket. Think there were 2 slide pins
A better design than the LC's set up

yes, 'technically better' but not a night/day difference, just a mild upgrade.
