+1 Nice pipes, nice wheels, not sure about jacked up back end though?Yea that tank shape looks okay but mounts wrong shame because paintwork looks good but sometimes they do in photos. Price wise a bit steep for me rather a nice German import myself

Definitely not an Indian tank. This is an Indian tank:

I too think it’s probably genuine. I think what might be making it look funny is the Yamaha logo in the wrong place, so it’s in a different curved area of the tank than usual?

The panel gaps don't help either

I think front of the tank sits on top of the front round guide rubbers rather than cupping either side of them, so front is too high and twisted. Probably also wht tank to panel gap is too big. Might just need repositioning.

The decals curving back towards the seat aren't "even" either - adds to the optical illusion (pic 4) Having said that, these seem to be hand made so maybe this one was slightly better than some like Naich's ? I wouldn't have said Indian tank personally - they usually are VERY obvious, even from a way away.

There were also some fibreglass ones that came from Hungary a few years ago.. didn’t realise till it arrived and the fit was a nightmare. You occasionally still see them on german eBay but I presume they’ve stopped making them. It might be one of those … particularly if you read between the lines of the ad wording…

Might just need repositioning. it's a bit tricky to see but there is a large gap between the tank and the frame at the headstock, it's not located on the rubbers.. marti
