I was browsing the 'bay... as you do, looking for an ignition switch, because the one I have is old, worn, and has no key. This looks similar! It's for "Pulse Adrenaline Sinnis Apache 125" and is £14.09 posted www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186097661585It is only 4 wires, instead of the LC 4L0 6 wires, but mechanically it is the same. Fitting the harness and connector board from my old switch was the work of a moment, and I have a new ignition switch. As a bonus, the fuel cap, while not as robustly made as a Yamaha original, fits the 4l0/1 tank, and obv. has the same key.

Looks like the usual Chinese copy of the generic 'Yam of the era' stuff. They keys are a bit of a giveaway.
I see the attraction in new locks, but our old ones are pretty rebuildable, the only part id love to have printed is the plastic key insert/holder part. Its finding a good one to copy thats the problem - but someone will do it one day and sell loads to guys like me lol
I guess the question is, is this much cheaper than the copy ignition and cap from that yambits/norbo/MPS/etc sell and that Hi Level for years just bagged with their name on?
The other issue is if the keys fit your seat lock. Generally Ive found the wafers in the copy locks are slightly thicker than the Yams and the remember that the OEM keys of course come in A>F shapes, so no guarantee the copies will fit your seat's 'key shape', let alone key alike to the new keys.
Anyway, just my 2p. If they worked for you then thats great.
