Out of curiosity, what does everyone think of this bike?

In the right colour scheme I think it’s a stunning looking bike and nicely engineered. Way too expensive and therefore too exclusive though 🙄

Appreciate the work and engineering gone into this bike, going to be expensive due to low production numbers. Just not for me,maybe I'm just to old fashioned, most probably why I'm on this forum 😁

I would rather have a Bimota v-due having said that how much would a Costin Rep cost or is it Moto2 the uk company that builds reps.

Just a 'Bobber stylie' two stroke. Great that it's a 2T. Otherwise, not that appealling for people who remember 2T bikes of the 60's - 90's.

I'd love one without the Shoreditch bling for half the cash.

It's an even more expensive and impractical version of those crappy CCM bikes with the even more crappy single pot motors. A styling exercise rather than anything else, but then again look at a lot of bikes nowadays.
Good that its a 2T albeit an Italian motor whose longevity is TBC.
Some of the engineering and machining however is sublime - look at the yokes for example. Overall the price of it is ridiculous, but that is from my eyes where I'd much rather build something myself. If you have the cash without the engineering capabilities then I can see why it would appeal.
I'd rather an RG500.... or two!

My lad had a 2006 YZ125. Brilliant bike. I only rode it around the garden but it pulled from nothing as good or better than my KMX125 and it had (just by watching him on the track) a stack of top and mid range power. I thought what a brilliant engine two of these cylinders fitted to a V twin bottom end would be.
This engine is pretty much that idea so top marks for that.
The rest of the bike is not for me even if it was half that price.
If I had enough money not to notice that amount coming out of my bank account then I'd have one but sadly I haven't.

Saw one in the flesh at Sammy Miller's 2 stroke day this year and I wanted to like it, but the overall styling isn't my thing. Loved the engine, frame and swing arm, but the airbox is horrific in my eyes, as are a number of other styling cues.

Yep the airbox is rubbish design as all bugs, stones and other rubbish can easily enter the intake and then clog up the airfilter in next to no time Also the radiator is buried under the tank without any ducting to assist air flow Heres a link to a few photos I took at the TT last year www.flickr.com/photos/157250085@N07/albums/72177720313346340/Loads of other things which I dont like about it, its just not to my taste. For me I think I would rather save the £20k and spend the other £10k on the Tigcraft project.
The bike overall looks too "busy" for my liking, as always though a 2T bike needs to look simplistic and lightweight, but that just my opinion.
Best wishes Al.

Styled for the brown leather seat boys. Would you like a beard trim and a tattoo while I wrap it up for you?

I really appreciate the ethos of this bike, and like and loathe in equal measures some of the stying. However I’ve got to ask the question who would buy one?
Even someone who doesn’t ‘do’ spanners, could build a similar machine exactly to there taste by farming stuff out. For those that ‘do’ the price is exorbitant.

It's a collectors bike. Most likely won't be ridden. But, will be kept in an office, stored in a lock up, or shop and sold for profit (more probably loss) in 30 years time.

No, no and no
All that work and engineering then make it look like one for the trendy leather seat and beard oil mob
Radiator is a disgrace, styling not for me
£30k??? WTF

For those in any doubt, have a really close look at the pics Johnny put up. Engineering is really hit and miss... rarely hit really, mostly miss... and for that money, no way!
(and that rad and air intake... bad in sooo many ways)

Amazing engineering with top notch stuff attached to it, im sure it goes well but its styled for people to young to remember riding strokers in the 80s.

Still not my style but here are some pics my mate got of the planned v4 version Unfortunately not a 2t engine though The one thing that made it stand out was the engine being a two stroke. Now that's gone it's just another modern bike and you have a choice of dozens of them. The silencers look like the standards on my RD200.

Looking at it more, it seems aimed at the Tweed Jacket and Brown leather shoes (handcrafted in Italy) DGR fraternity.
But then the 2 stroke engine makes a mockery of that when a twin or single four stroke of decent capacity producing mediocre power seems to be where bikes for that tend to be at?

But then the 2 stroke engine makes a mockery of that when a twin or single four stroke of decent capacity producing mediocre power seems to be where bikes for that tend to be at? That was my thought, the two stroke motor is a niche engine, it neither looks like nor sounds like the type of engine the DGR lot embrace and when you look at a lot of the bikes and style they embrace it’s more crappy 4 stroke. Then if you compare Langen to CCM going with a proprietary 4 stroke makes far more sense. Feels like a disconnect between a modern take on a performance stroker and the market they seem to have aimed at.
