My site glass has started weeping. Is it possible to to seal it with something without removing it? If not,any tips on how to get the old one out. It's an F2 so there is only a small slot to work through, also any advice on fitting a new one would be much appreciated. Is it an 18mm dia one I need? Thanks in advance

What I do: grab one of the chinese cheapies off ebay and get a decent O ring locally that will actually deal with brake fluid unlike the junk that comes from China. Punch the old one out and gently press (G clamp) the new one in.

What sort of o ring is resistant to dot4?

Pretty sure I bought EPDM, but worth having a google I would think.
The reason I dont trust the ones with the windows is that the whole thing is cheap, it stands to reason its the cheapest o ring the could find and I have had some leak sadly.
Yes, do order a few. They are good to have in hand anyway in case of issues.
