Hi
To me life depends upon the use
Yes yours are 6 years old but have had little use and stored out of UV light so should be fine
Recommendation is 10 years I think
However, I've had an issue with a 2 year old 1900 mile tyre. Plenty of tread in the middle and only 2 years old but fried on the sides. Fecker low sided with no warning on a corner I'd went through a thousand times.
Your nice still soft tyre will be fine for a good while, just treat it like a new tyre for 50 miles first time out in the spring

Still life in them for sure…
….. but new tyres will be better..
So depends how much you care about what’s between you and the floor…

Depending on how much sun they see, I think it's 10 year's at the moment, but I do remember a couple of years ago, there was talk of a 7 year limit, I don't believe that there is a law at the moment either, just recommendations,.
If the tyre feels hard instead of soft and pliable, then I would replace, hard tyres will loose grip on bends and under braking,
Tyes only have a very small contact area, you want that contact as sticky as possible.

It wouldn't bother me, but I would be mindfull of the situation and drive accordingly.

I think I should also add that I currently own a 650 Bandit from 2005 with it's original tyres. It had approximately 4000 miles on it. I've now put 7500 miles on it and locked the front wheel up twice with straight line braking and one very lucky save when I locked the front up on a roundabout due to not being seen by a car driver. The back tyre is almost worn out now but I plan to change them both. I've never really drove it hard but yes those tyres are too old and the front wheel locking up so easily is a sure sign they are too old.

My LC came with Avon RoadRider 1's fitted that were knocking on 10 years old. I was hooning about all summer on them without issue, though once they wore down they whitelined badly and were replaced with RR 2's which felt ok on the cold wet roads today riding to Rykas for breakfast.

Tyres are a weird subject….
To me, the most unpredictable item on a bike!
My dad had an early SuperDream…. Very low miles which he lent me for a few weeks during the 90’s tanker driver strikes…. To my horror it still had the original tyres on, yep! Yokohama’s…. It rode perfectly…. However, there was that little doubt gremlin growing in my mind…..changed them for Metzelers…..
Now, I got a gen2 Grom about 6 years ago, had IRC tyres on who or whatever they are….. diabolical….crumbling rubber as though they had been on a track, plus it was akin to riding on ice…. Fitted Michelin Pilots.
Recently bought a new Dax, and…. IRC tyres again, 6 years on, huge improvement over the ones fitted to the Grom I thought… Went in for first service and the job sheet had rear tyre at 2.5mm at 340 miles…..but by shear bad luck, it started raining on way home….. had to stop as bike was literally drifting…. Turns out they have worked on dry weather grip, not wet…. Pirelli Rosso being put on for summer.
The point is…. If it feels right, generally it is….but if you have a nagging feeling…. You are generally right. Remember if the thought of tyres gets into your mind, it’s like the monster that lived under your bed as a kid…. You hope not to see it, but can’t sleep because you know it there!

I have used BT45's which were over 10 years old on the road and track without issue. Once they had warmed up, they went back to being nice and grippy. Ride your bike for 20 mins then check if they are getting warm and sticky. If they are, they should be okay to use.
As said above, storage out of the sun seems to extend tyre life.
