Hi All, has anyone got thoughts on what trackers are out there that can be tucked away somewhere, cheers Paul

Have a look at Monimoto, roughly 2 year battery life and £35 a year for the SIM.

Does it need to be insurance approved or not?

An Apple Air-Tag would be the simplest option.

An Apple Air-Tag would be the simplest option. We use these Air-Tags at the TT & Manx GP to track our race bikes around the course as most people have Iphone ect....... also IOM online timing dosent always work but these air tags do so its a cheap easy option for you. Hope that helps Best regards Johnny C.

thanks for the info, No not for insurance purposes, just my own paranoia kicking in as nothing is safe nowadays, I didn't no with certain products of the range cover and if you need sims or not, as it seems I can use a apple pod as I have a iPhone. cheers Paul

An Apple Air-Tag would be the simplest option. Seen this suggested on many other forums, and someone always points out that if the thieves have iPhones then the anti stalking features will after a short time alert them that an air tag is near them.

The cheap Chinese tk102 trackers sold under many brands from about a tenner are fiddly to setup but work. If you find one that has the deep sleep mode and set it to text you when there's movement you can get 2 to 4 weeks on a charge. I have 3 of them, but I'd recommend a Monimoto over them, they're just less hassle.

Just a word of caution:
Don’t buy anything that needs a 2G or 3G SIM - these networks are being run down and switched off in the next couple of years in the UK. They’re already off in some parts of the world.
