Has anyone used an FZS600 Frazer front end using the original speedo drive ? The drive on the spindle uses 3 wires Red Black and White to the original clocks (Which I’m not going to use). I’ve tried putting a multi meter on the cores to see if it’s a common N/c N/o configuration but didn’t read any changes or read a resistance value across the 3 cores. I’m hesitant to put a voltage down one of the cores to see if it is a switch. And or I haven’t been rotating the wheel fast enough to get a reading. Any advice would be appreciated thanks

I've done a few Fazer front ends but have used an xjr400/thundercat mechanical drive

Aye thanks for that Steve ill bear it in mind if I retain the existing clocks, Im thinking or changing these and fitting a Koso RX-1N and know this can use a 3 wire input but ive not read up anything for a Yamaha as yet ?
