Chaps I've a problem with indicators. Just aquired the bike, they don't work,no relay connected.so Borrowed one of a mates lc,still nothing.
However, when I've opened the headlight up, the lives coming from the indicators aren't connected to anything. I have 12v at the relay and block under the tank, but no power at rear indicators.all cable's connected as they should be as far as I can see.
now I'm stuck, I'm unsure of where to connect the lives in the headlight as no other wire receptor's are live, I've tried activating the switch while the multimeter is connected to anything that looks like it should take the bullet's but nothing.
Any advice would be much appreciated

The feeds to the front indies are show in your third pic, the brown and green single bullet connectors, you look to have connected both wires to the black negative double bullet connector.
After market indicators have black, and black/white tracer.
Originals are green/black, and brown/black for each side.

So. To no avail, I've tried everything i can, checked against the Haynes manual which doesn't actually say much. I have 12v at brown wire at relay. Nothing at the brn/wh at the bar switch Nothing at the brown or brn/wh at loom block near coil. Nothing inside the headlight on either feed. Nothing at rear feeds either. The loom is brand new. The bulb's work btw :-).
Any suggestions?
Everything else electrically works perfect

flic.kr/p/2pcPnGtThe brown wire in the 6 pin block shows 12v at the pin. (5 cable's) are in there.

There isn't one on it Steve The spare is black ,on a bullet. I have a green wire with a bullet that goes into relay socket, the other 2 are fixed. I tried putting black onto green but nothing. Should I be connecting the black to one of the other one's?

The genuine relays are very fussy
Had issues with my last LC build and my parts guy was telling me this
He ended up sending me 6 tested and working LC relays so I could try them all
Some wouldn't work, some flashed too fast and some too slow

The OEM flasher units may have the same issue as some other manufacturers where the capacitor inside is wearing out, so needs replacing. If anyone has a faulty flasher unit, it would be great to see a photo of inside to see if it can be repaired.

Some of the tops of the units of this age are pretty loose lol
