Hello,
I have a RD 125 LC MK1 and I have only 1 working ignition coil left. The original part is no more available. I ordered a no-name-replacement and the resistance of the primary coil is 0,3 - 0,4 Ohms instead of 0,6 Ohms of the original part. I am worried that I might fry my CDI-Unit with the lower resistance of the coil.
I did some research and found the DT 175 MX 2K4 has a coil with 1 Ohm primary resistance. At cmsnl this part is superseeded with 355-82310-40-00 which is a coil for a FS1. Can someone tell me what the primary resistance of the coil for the FS1 is?
So I would like to hear your experience with aftermarket-coils for the small bikes and if it is important to have the resistance written in the manual or if it doesn't matter.
