Has anyone with a modified 500 changed rear lens so it’s no protruding quite so much? Appreciate not something you’re going to do on a standard bike but just wondered if anyone has done similar by modifying existing or buying new lens or complete light unit?

You can't really modify the lens as the lamps would be too close to the lens and might melt, the mounting point on the rear of the subframe could be altered so the light sits further back.

I bought a clear lensed led bulbed light a few years back which also has built in indicator function. Never wired in the indicators though, so whilst not anymore recessed it is less obvious. Purchased from France if memory serves me right
