So i have purchased a rd350lc which came with a TZR 3MA swingarm , the problem i have is that whoever did the conversion has used the TZR swingarm spindle and bored out the frame to accommodate this + added a similar plate to the existing bracket on either side of the frame , i can only assume for added strength ....unbelievable i think it is easier ? to remove the both parts of the frame and replace it with a piece from an already cut up frame , if someone out there has a doner one ?? i welcome and feedback on this and willing to share some pictures to help explain things better any help appreciated ZiG thanks guys

Just had the same issue with an Lc frame. The swingarm spindle holes had been opened up so a Kr1 spindle could be used. I had 2 top hat bushes made so an Lc spindle could be used again. The top hats could be knocked out if I decided to use the Kr1 swingarm at a later date; 20231005_105414 by dusty miller, on Flickr Dusty

Oh,and a Ypvs swingarm spindle is longer than an Lc one, if you decide to keep the extra plates that have been welded on. Unless you want a standard build, I wouldn't bother removing them, providing they have been done right and look good

Hi Dusty , i think you have solved my dilemma here .....the welded up frame parts are not that unsightly and could be dressed up a little better with a fine WURTH polishing/grinder pad as for the oversized spindle holes existing in the frame i have already sourced 2 top-hat bushed to fit snug .... and by the way i found that the OE bushes from a RG125 fun swingarm fit to perfection ..good to know just wondering with the bushes along with the extra steel on the frame will the PV spindle still work , suppose i could fit the without its head and just use as a sleeve...ummm thanks for the input Dusty and as ever i really appreciate it. i will let you know how i get on ZiG
